A Great Big Thank You to the Cast & Crew of Camelot
As Camelot continues on its National Tour (mostly U.S. with a few forays into Canada), the cast & crew took on fundraising duties. With a desire to help the people of Haiti after the devastating earthquake, the Camelot company asked the audience for donations after each performance. In less than a month, they raised $11,583.
In each city where they performed, organizer Heather McGuigan contacted the local Red Cross. After the show, company members would take turns standing at the door collecting money in red buckets, then meet with Red Cross representations to turn over the donations. Collections were made across Vermont, Georgia, New York, Michigan, North Dakota, Wisconsin, Indiana, etc.
At present, they are performing in Lexington, Kentucky for three days, then on to Virginia Beach, then New Mexico and California where they work their way up the Pacific Coast.

The cast did well with their collections. They should be proud of their efforts.
