Year-End Thoughts
As we go into 2017, here are some of my thoughts about 2016 –
The “Bests”:
Best Musical – Come From Away, Royal Alexandra Theatre, Toronto
Best Comedy – The Birds and the Bees, Blyth Festival, Blyth
Also a good production of The Birds and The Bees, Port Stanley Festival, Port Stanley

Best Drama – Tie: “Master Harold”…and the Boys, Court House Theatre, Shaw Festival, Niagara-on-the-Lake
Tie for Best Drama: All My Sons, Tom Patterson Theatre, Stratford Festival, Stratford
Best Concert-Style Show – Joni Mitchell: River, Grand Theatre, London
Best Life Story – Miss Michael: In Conversation with Michael Learned, Victoria Playhouse, Petrolia
Best Kids/Family Show – Cinderella ~ The Panto, St. Jacobs Country Playhouse, St. Jacobs
