The 2025 Summer Season at The Port Stanley Festival Theatre hits the ground running on May 21st and promises to be one of your favourite seasons yet!
Dump Guys – May 21-31
The season gets under way with DUMP GUYS by former Artistic Director Simon Joynes. DUMP GUYS is a comedy about friendship, love, and taking out the trash. We are thrilled to have Simon’s best friend Murray Furrow as our guest director for DUMP GUYS.
Opry Gold – June 3-14
On the heels of DUMP GUYS comes Leisa Way’s OPRY GOLD: Hits of the Grand Ole Opry featuring The Wayward Wind Band. OPRY GOLD is a celebration of country legends from yesterday to today, It’s a toe tappin’ salute to country music that strikes gold!
Doris and Ivy in the Home – June 18-July 12
Opening on June 18th, Norm Foster is back with the uproarious comedy DORIS AND IVY IN THE HOME. This is not your average retirement home; Whoopee cropping up in the compost heap, some sordid gossip, unlikely friendships and a touch of romance all rolled into a riotous romp. This is Foster at his hilarious best.
Liars at a Funeral – July 16-August 2
Taking us into July and August is the smashing modern farce LIARS AT A FUNERAL by Sophia Fabiilli. Grandma’s dead, or is she? Coffin and door slamming abound in this priceless comedy, with five actors playing nine parts, it’ll kill ya with laughter!
The Kitchen Witches – August 6-23
Get ready ‘cause on August 26th THE KITCHEN WITCHES by Caroline Smith, roll into town. Featuring lifelong enemies, Dolly and Isobel thrust together for a live cooking show. The audience, the food, and the insults are flying high on the PSFT stage!
golfish – August 27-September 13
Closing out the season is our World Premiere goldfish by Steve Ross. A touching story where you’ll meet and fall in love with Walter, a retiree, and his new best friend Shannon, a mother of two who just moved in across the street. They watch life go by together on Walter’s porch sharing stories, corny jokes, and egg rolls. A charming new piece of theatre that you don’t want to miss.
New for the 2025 summer season all evening shows are starting at 7:30pm.
Also coming this summer are five Musical Mondays on the gorgeous patio with the best view in town, Talk Back Tuesdays, and of course The Simon Joynes Playwrights Festival in September.
